Raquette Lake is
centrally located and is about twenty minutes north of Old
Forge on Route 28. In the town center of Raquette Lake, there

room, scenic boat tours, gas station, and public parking. Also
located on the lake are two marinas which provide for all
types of water sports. The Sagamore, one of Durant's great
camps is also open for tours and various workshops year round
in Raquette Lake.
Other attractions a few minutes away
include the Adirondack Museum, Old Forge, Enchanted Forest,
restaurants, shopping, seaplane rides, and McCauley Mountain.
Any part of the Adirondack Park is accessible within a day's
